Girl Scout representative Claire Offenberger says “Ms. Oskouian is an important role model for today’s girls. I joined the Girl Scouts in the first grade, the same year I was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder. Like Ms. Oskouian, the Girl Scouts has helped me develop the courage and confidence to challenge obstacles that stand in my way and the leadership skills to achieve my goals. My participation in the Girl Scouts has inspired me to be my very best in everything I do.  It has also given me life-long skills I will use to make our world a better place. Thank you Ms. Oskouian for being a great inspiration to us all and for helping me realize the power of courage in achieving my dreams.”

Celebration of a Century

In 2012 Girl Scouts will boldly proclaim our commitment to girls and invite the community to join us in a year-long focus on girls and their impact on the world. The goal is to close critical gaps in education, leadership and investment to ensure that every girl in this generation will have the leadership skills and opportunity to reach her potential.
