1st Grade, Daisy Girl Scout

Sally remembers being introduced to team-building as a young girl attending Girl Scout camp, which she looked forward to all year long.  She was a shy child and camp helped Sally develop confidence and make friends.  She was tall for her age and recalls her camp counselor encouraging her to stand up straight and be proud.  That message of self-acceptance resonated deeply with Sally and she carries it with her today.

Jessica said, “Thank you Ms. Anderson for being a great example for all of us.  I am a Girl Scout Daisy in the 1st grade.  I enjoy helping others and collect food for needy families.  I also enjoy the many different activities we get to do in Girl Scouts.
